MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Southwest Minnesota State wrestling team struggled to earn points against Concordia-Moorhead as it dropped its regular season finale 47-0.
 
CC started the dual off with a fall in the first bout followed by a major decision at 133 to give the Cobbers a 10-0 lead. Concordia-Moorhead increased its lead the next bout with a decision and then a tech. fall at 149.
 
At 157 pounds, CC added bonus points with a major decision to lead 22-0 half way through the dual.
 
The second half looked like the first, as the Cobbers recorded another pin at 165 followed by a major decision at 174 to have a commanding, 32-0 lead.
 
Concordia-Moorhead handled the last bouts with a decision at 184 followed by a pin at 197.
 
SMSU left 285 pounds open and was defeated, 47-0.
 
Southwest Minnesota State finished the regular season 8-10 overall and 3-5 in the NSIC. The Mustangs will travel to Mankato, Minn., next weekend for the Super Region 3 tournament.
