MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University Mustang Booster Club hosted the 30th annual "David and Carol Drown SMSU Classic" on Friday, June 12, at the Marshall Golf Club.
 
The team of Tim Deutz, Chad Michelson, Tom McLaughlin, Doug Krogen and Brett Haukom won the five-person scramble golf tournament with a score of 21-under 51. The team of Josh Hawkinson, Nate Bourne, Carlton Lance, Jason Manthei and Tony Mensink took second place with a score of 53.
 
It was a great day to support SMSU Athletics with all proceeds going towards scholarships for SMSU student-athletes.
