MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University Athletics Department will host the 10th annual "Mustang Shootout", presented by Marshall Radio, on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Shooters Sporting Clays east of Marshall.
 
Proceeds from the event go towards student-athlete scholarships at SMSU.
 
The day begins with registration at 8 a.m. with the sporting clay competition starting at 9:30 a.m. with each individual shooting 100 birds. The "Duck Flurry" will be open for everyone from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 
Lunch for all individuals will be held at 12:30 p.m., followed by the awards and prize announcements at 1 p.m.
