MARSHALL, Minn.- Southwest Minnesota State's women's soccer team will look to snap an 0-5 start to the 2017 as they take on Concordia-St. Paul this Friday on the road before returning to Marshall for a Sunday afternoon matchup against No. 14 Minnesota State Mankato.

- With their two shutouts over the weekend, Minnesota State has four shutouts so far in 2017

- The 2017 SMSU roster features four total seniors: Emily Huddleston, Amanda Hartmann, Fabiana Peiro, and McKenna Peters

- Midfielder, Fabiana Peiro, scored the Mustangs first goal of the season in the 14th minute against Northern State

- Forward, Emily Huddleston, gave SMSU its first lead in a match this season with her 20th minute goal against MSU Moorhead

- Forward, Amanda Hartmann, leads the Mustangs with 11 total shots and four shots on goal

- Huddleston is second on the team in total shots with seven


Mustangs in Marshall

- SMSU had a three-match home unbeaten streak snapped against Sioux Falls on Sept. 8

- SMSU holds an all-time record of 31-41-5 at the Schwan Regional Event Center

- The Mustangs will look to break what is currently a tie for the second longest home losing streak in the program's history (SMSU has lost three straight home matches on five occasions)
