LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Southwest Minnesota State University volleyball team (14-9, 8-7 NSIC), is ranked 18th in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top 25 Division II weekly poll released on Monday afternoon.
SMSU is 14-9 overall and 8-7 in the conference after splitting weekend play with a sweep over Sioux Falls on Thursday and a three-set loss to Augustana on Saturday.
SMSU has been ranked in the Top 25 for 185 consecutive polls, dating back to Sept. 5, 2006.
SMSU is one of eight NSIC schools ranked in this week's Top 25 with Minnesota Duluth leading the way at No. 3. Followed by Concordia-St. Paul at No. 6, Northern State at No. 7, St. Cloud State at No. 8, Wayne State at No. 13, Winona State at No. 16, SMSU at No. 18, and Upper Iowa at No. 22.
