MARSHALL, Minn. - •The No. 18 Southwest Minnesota State volleyball team (14-10, 8-8 NSIC) travels for the final road series of the season at Northern State at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, and MSU Moorhead at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9. 
•SMSU went 1-2 after dropping a match to No. 13 Wayne State on Tuesday night in three sets. 
•SMSU notches the No. 18 spot in the latest AVCA poll released on Monday, Nov, 4. This marks the 185th poll that SMSU has been featured in the Top-25. 
•SMSU is one of eight NSIC schools ranked in this week's Top 25 with Minnesota Duluth leading the way at No. 3. Followed by Concordia-St. Paul at No. 6, Northern State at No. 7, St. Cloud State at No. 8, Wayne State at No. 13, Winona State at No. 16, SMSU at No. 18, and Upper Iowa at No. 22. 

Head Coach Terry Culhane 
•Terry Culhane is in his 16th season as head coach in 2019.
•He is decorated as the program's all-time winningest head coach. 
•His overall record in the 2019 season is 406-114 and 248-64 in the conference. His home record is 145-34.

 Mustang Leaders
•Junior Angela Young leads the team offensively with 369 kills and a 4.19 kills per set average.
•Emma Thomssen leads in assists with 633 and Alisa Bengen is right behind with 434.
•Payton Hjerleid leads the team defensively with 357 digs and 4.06 digs per set.
•Hjerleid also leads in service aces with 27.
•Zoe Lier leads in blocks with 73 including 55 block assist and 18 block solos. 
•SMSU has a 14.91 kills per set average and a .248 hitting percentage.

•Teeya Doppler leads the Dragons at the net with 49 blocks, 48 block assists and one block solo.
