MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State women's soccer team (3-1, 1-1 NSIC) travels to Northern State (2-2, 0-1 NSIC) in Aberdeen, S.D., on Friday at 6 p.m. and MSU Moorhead (3-0-1, 1-0-1 NSIC) in Moorhead, Minn., on Sunday at 1 p.m. to conclude the first conference road series of the season.
SMSU Notes
•The Mustangs split the conference opening weekend with a 3-1 loss to Augustana on Friday and a 3-0 shutout victory on Sunday, at the Schwan Regional Event Center.
•Sunday's victory was the second shutout for the Mustangs this season.

Erin Fisher leads the team in scoring with two this season, while five other players have contributed one goal each.

•Kennedy Rodgers and Kayleigh Sedlacek are the goalkeepers for the Dragons. Rodgers has 12 saves with one shutout. Sedlacek has 22 saves and has allowed one goal.

•SMSU vs Augie: SMSU jumped to an early lead with a goal from
Alli Miskowiec, her first of the season, assisted by
Alex Lotts, in the 11th minute. Miskowiec also led the team in shots on goal with three.
•The Vikings tied the game with under 10 minutes remaining in the first half.
•Augie scored in the 58th and 60th minute to take and secure the lead.
•SMSU vs WSC:
Abbey Hoisington was the first for the Mustangs to score in the first five minutes of the second half. After the teams played a scoreless first, Hoisington accounted for her first goal of the season in the 50th minute, assisted by Miskowiec.
•Miskowiec, led the team in assists with two as she passed off to Lotts for SMSU's second goal in the 55th minute. The goal was also assisted by Hoisington.
•In the 76th minute, the Mustangs looked to attack the goal as a penalty was called as WSC's Brooke Worrel was assigned a yellow card and
Olivia Harriger set up to take the penalty kick for the Mustangs.
