MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team (3-6) went 0-3, falling to the University of Mary (6-4), Minnesota State (5-0), and MSU Moorhead (1-0) on Saturday at the MSU Moorhead Quad Duals.
The Mustang fell 183-91 to UMary, 217-68 to Minnesota State, and 183-96 to MSU Moorhead.
SMSU recorded one first-place finish as
Natalie Bohnert finished first in the 100-yard backstroke with a final time of 59.86 and also finished fifth in the 50 yard backstroke at 28.72.
Annika Freiburger finished second in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:15.06, was third in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:03.29 and was fourth in the 100 yard freestyle at 55.82.
MacKenzie Kallevig finished with a time of 55.82 to earn a fourth place finish in the 100 yard freestyle.
The Mustangs will compete at the NSIC Championships on Feb. 12-15 in Bismarck, N.D.
