SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- The Southwest Minnesota State soccer team their final match of the season, to Sioux Falls on Friday afternoon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The Mustangs struck first as
Selena Prolic netted the opener off a twisting cross from
Hayleigh Young in the 26
th minute. It was Prolic's first career goal. Sioux Falls scored the equalizer just before half as Julia Kreutner scored from just outside the box.

Sioux Falls wasted no time after the break, as Kyla Gushard beat
Julianne Arballo in the 49
th minute to take a 2-1 lead.Â

Jessica Jugovich would even the score at 2-2 in the 54
th minute when Sioux Falls would attempt to clear inside of their own box before the ball would find the foot of Jugovich.Â

The teams would stay level the rest of the way, as Sioux Falls would outshoot SMSU 2-0 in the OT periods, but couldn't connect with a goal.Â

USF outshot SMSU 9-6 on the night, with all 15 shots landing on goal.Â

Arballo closed out the season out with seven saves in net. Jugovich led the team with two shots, as Prolic,
Madi Foutz,
Laney Brill, and
Abbey Hoisington each put a shot on net.Â

Alex Lotts and Hoisington ended the season co-leading the Mustangs in scoring with four goals apiece. Lotts also lead the team in assists with four.Â
