St. Ben's took an early lead, striking in the sixth minute to take a 1-0 lead that would not be relinquished. The Mustangs applied pressure the entire game, outshooting the Bennies 13-4. Freshman

Southwest Minnesota State concludes exhibition play Saturday, facing off against Dakota Wesleyan at home, before opening the regular season on the road at Black Hills State (S.D.) on Sept. 3 at 4 p.m.
