MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's swimming & diving team returns to the pool this weekend, facing Adams State in a dual starting at 6 p.m., Friday in Alamosa Colo., before competing in the CSP Pueblo Quadrangular at 2 p.m., in Pueblo, Colo.
 
The Mustangs (2-0) last competed on Friday, Sept. 30, at the Northern State Relay Meet, earning victories over Northern State and Concordia-St. Paul. SMSU won all six of ten events on the day.
 
Adams State is 1-0 in duals this season with a loss to Western Colorado on Sept. 17. The Grizzlies finished sixth in the Intermountain Shootout, hosted by Colorado Mesa, Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
 
This will be the first meeting between the teams. 
 
The CSU Pueblo Quad will feature CSU Pueblo, Adams State, and Western Colorado.
 
The Mustangs have never faced any of the teams competing. 
 
SMSU is back in action Oct. 22, for the CSP Triangular against Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State.
