MANKATO, Minn.- The Southwest Minnesota State University women's swimming & diving team fell 183-104 to Minnesota State on Saturday afternoon.
SMSU drops to 1-5 overall while MSU improves to 7-1 overall. The dual featured 16 events, which included 3-meter and 1-meter diving.
Maddy Storm earned a first-place finish for the Mustangs in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.17 and finished second place in the 100-yard IM at 1:01.64.
Carla Nevi earned a pair of second place finishes in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.88 and in the 200-yard IM at 2:14.02.
Maija Geier earned a pair of second place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle (24.90) and 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.28.
Breanne Sanneman grabbed a third-place finish in the 1-mtr diving with a final score of 192.40.

Carla Nevi earned a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:39.31.
SMSU returns to action on Nov. 21-23 at the WildBear Invite, hosted by Concordia-St. Paul and St. Kate's.
