MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's swimming & diving team concludes the regular season this Friday and Saturday with a pair of home meets inside The Don Palm Natatorium.
 
On Friday, SMSU will entertain Northern State, Augustana and Iowa Lakes C.C. for a quadrangular starting at 5 p.m., while on Saturday the Mustangs will host Dordt University (Iowa) for a dual beginning at 10 a.m.
 
SMSU is coming off a 145-139 home dual victory over the University of Sioux Falls last Saturday. Maija Geier earned a pair of first place finishes for the Mustangs in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 27.75 and in the 100-yard freestyle at 54.22. Carla Nevi picked up a pair of first place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:00.60 and in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:00.68.
 
Bre Sanneman grabbed a first-place finish in the 1-mtr diving with a final score of 183.25. 
 
Following this weekend, SMSU will prepare for the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships on Feb. 12-15 in West Fargo, N.D.
