LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's volleyball team (21-6, 14-6 NSIC) moves up one spot to No. 13 in the recent American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) DII poll released on Monday afternoon.

The Mustangs, ranked No. 14 in the week 10 poll, won its final regular season matches last weekend, defeating UMary on Senior Night on Friday in three sets, and taking down Minot State in three sets the next day.

SMSU is one of five NSIC schools represented in the recent poll, with Wayne State leading the conference at No. 2. Concordia-St. Paul moves up one spot to No. 5 followed by St. Cloud State at No. 11. The Mustangs are at No. 13, followed by Minnesota State at No. 22. Northern State and Minnesota Duluth are receiving votes.

The Mustangs travel to St. Cloud, Minn., for the first round of the NSIC Tournament on Tuesday, facing the St. Cloud State Huskies at 6 p.m. The match will be streaming live on the NSIC Network, and you can catch the match on 105.1 KARL FM with play by play from Anthony Rohlik.
