LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's volleyball team is ranked No. 13 in the final regular season American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II poll released on Monday afternoon (Nov. 24).

The Mustangs ended the season with a 21-7 overall record following a quarterfinal loss in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament on Nov. 18.
 
The 20-plus win season was the fifth straight for the program and its 21st in the past 22 seasons.
 
SMSU won three matches versus teams that qualified for the NCAA tournament, while three of its seven losses came to teams in the NCAA tournament.
