MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State University Athletics Department will be hosting 'Military Appreciation Day' during the Mustang football game versus Concordia-St. Paul this Saturday at The Schwan Regional Event Center starting at 1 p.m.

As a show of support from SMSU, all military personnel—active, retired or reserve—will receive a free general admission ticket to the game with identification or proof of service.

"SMSU Athletics is committed to honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation's military heroes, who exemplify the spirit of teamwork, discipline, and courage every day," said SMSU Vice President of Athletic, Travis Whipple. "We are grateful that we can come together through sport to recognize all military members. We look forward to celebrating, honoring, and saying thank you to those that have served or continue to serve our great nation."
