MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University Athletics Department along with the Marshall Area Chamber will be hosting a Fall Sports Kickoff/Business After Hours social on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at The Schwan Regional Event Center suite level.
 
The social, with snacks and beverages provided, begins at 4:30 p.m. and will continue until 6:30 p.m. Starting at 5:45 p.m. fans will hear from SMSU's new Vice President of Athletics, Travis Whipple, while SMSU fall student-athletes and coaches will give outlooks on the upcoming season.
 
SMSU Athletics staff will be in attendance to answer questions and assist fans with ordering, finding, or using tickets on the SMSU ticketing platform, GoFan.
