MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's swimming & diving team will have its first home meet of the season on Saturday with a double-dual versus Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State.

The meet begins at 1 p.m. inside the Don Palm Natatorium on the SMSU campus. This will be the fifth straight season the three programs have meet for a double-dual meet.

SMSU (1-0) is coming off a season-opening road dual victory over Jamestown last Friday by a score of 226-54, with the Mustangs earning first-place in all 14 swimming events.

SMSU is 6-2 all-time versus CSP, but the Golden Bears have earned victories the past two seasons, including 170-129 in Mendota Heights, Minn., last season. SMSU last defeated CSP during the 2023-24 season.

MSU is 13-0 all-time versus SMSU, including earning three victories a season ago.

CSP is 0-1 on the season following a 157-142 setback to MSU Moorhead on Oct. 3. MSU, ranked No. 15 in the preseason national poll, is 0-1 on the season after suffering a 177-129 loss to Division I South Dakota on Oct. 2. The Mavericks won the St. Cloud Invite last Saturday.
