MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State wrestling team, winners of two of the last three duals, travel this weekend to Sioux Falls, S.D., facing the No. 11 ranked Augustana Vikings on Friday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m.
 
Fifth-year head coach Chayse Jackson will be using 13 athletes as a part of his probable lineup for the dual on Friday.
 
Last weekend the Mustangs returned to Marshall for the team's final two home duals of the season. SMSU faced Northern State on Friday, dropping the contest 48-0, with Coach Jackson's squad battling injuries and illness.
 
The following day against Jamestown the Mustangs returned to winning ways, defeating the Jimmies 27-15. SMSU had six victories in total including a tech fall, major decision, and sudden victory.
 
Augustana hold a 9-6 dual record on the season, with wins over No. 7 Tiffin, No. 8 McKendree, No. 19 King and RV Minnesota State. Augustana's losses are against DI No. 15 South Dakota State, two against No. 1 Central Oklahoma, No. 2 Nebraska-Kearney, and two against No. 13 St. Cloud State. The Vikings have four individuals ranked in the top 15 of their respective weight classes and are currently ranked No. 11 in the NCAA DII NWCA Coaches Rankings (Jan. 22).
 
After Friday's dual, the Mustangs travel to Mankato to face the Minnesota State Mavericks on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. Both duals will be streaming live on the NSIC Network, and more information is available at smsumustangs.com/sports/wrestling.
