IRVING, Texas – Six Southwest Minnesota State University football student-athletes were named earlier this week to the 2026 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Hampshire Honor Society.
Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must be a senior player who will graduate this spring/summer and just completed his final year of playing in 2025, or a graduated player or graduate transfer who has already earned a bachelor's degree and competed in 2025. Nominees also must have been a starter or key contributor and maintained a minimum undergraduate cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.
Earning the honor for SMSU include
Logan Booth,
Mason Carver,
Gideon Ervasti,
Josiah Hedensten,
Jacob Honstetter and
Jojo Parham.
Across all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and sprint football, a record total of 2,569 student-athletes from 365 colleges and university qualified for membership this past season. More than 23,000 student-athletes have now been honored as members of the Hampshire Honor Society in the 20-year history of the program.
