LAKE CITY, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's golf team shot a final round score of 38-over-par 326 on Tuesday for a 36-hole total of 72-over 648 to finish sixth at the 12-team Jewel Invite played at the par-72 Jewel Golf Club and hosted by Concordia-St. Paul.
 
Augustana won the team title with a score of 34-over 610. Addi Wood from Concordia-St. Paul earned medalist honors with a score of 2-over 146.
 
Katelyn Storbeck shot SMSU's low-round on Tuesday with a 3-over 75 with three birdies and nine pars. Storbeck led the Mustangs with a tie for the 11^th overall at 12-over 156.
 
Carly Bronson closed the tournament in a tie for 19^th at 14-over 158. On Tuesday, Bronson shot a 9-over 81 with two birdies and six pars.
 
Alyssa Swedzinski recorded eight pars on Tuesday on her way to finishing at 13-over 85, for a two-day total of 21-over 165 to finish tied for 32^nd. Dayton Webskowski finished 41^st at 25-over 169, following a round two score of 13-over 85 with a birdie and seven pars. Izzie Van Beck rounded out team play with an 18-over 90 to place tied for 53^rd at 36-over 180.
 
Allie Nedved, playing as an individual, closed the tournament tied for 48^th with a score of 32-over 176. Carly Hamman and Natalie Appel also played as individuals with Hamman finishing tied for 58^th at 39-over 183, while Appel was tied for 68^th at 52-over 196.
 
SMSU will now turn its attention to this weekend's 28^th annual EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invite held at the Marshall Golf Club. The 36-hole invite begins on Saturday with tee times starting at 9 a.m. on both hole 1 and 10. SMSU's players are expected to tee off around 10 a.m. The final round on Sunday will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
