2009 (Junior): Started all 16 games for the Mustangs ... finished second on the team with two goals ... added one helper on the season ... attempted 15 shots on goal ... recorded the team's highest shooting percentage (.133) ... scored her first goal of the season at Concordia University (Sept. 27) her second against MSU Moorhead (Nov. 1) on a penalty kick ... currently ranks third in school history in minutes played in a career (4,442).

2008 (Sophomore): Started all 17 games on defense ... led team with three assists ... scored one goal--that coming against Upper Iowa (Oct. 26) ... finished third on team with seven points ... second on team with 24 shot attempts ... third on team with 11 shots on goal ... had one assist against South Dakota (Sept. 3), Bemidji State (Sept. 20) and Minnesota State Moorhead (Oct. 31).

2007 (Freshman): Started all 20 games on defense ... finished second on the team with eight points and tied for second with three goals ... tied for the team-lead with two assists ... helped an SMSU defense to its second-lowest single season goals against average in school history ... recorded first career point with an assist in a 4-3 win over Minnesota, Crookston (Sept. 29) ... scored first career goal the following day in a 1-1 tie with Bemidji State ... also scored goals  against Upper Iowa (Oct. 13) and against Wayne State (Oct. 21) ... SMSU had 2-1-2 record when Borstad recorded at least one point ... second on the team with 24 shot attempts and 13 shots on goal, despite playing defense the entire season.

High School: 2007 graduate of Coppell High School ... two-year letterwinner ... played for Chris Stricker ... member of FC Dallas 89 club team ... played for Chris Ring ... anchored a defense that was the Premier League champions, Labor Day Tournament champions, and Region 3 semifinalists.
