Biography

2015: Appeared in 22 games with 17 starts … batted .125 with four hits … tallied seven runs scored with one double … finished with three RBIs.

2014: Played in 15 games with six starts ... finished the season batting .273 with one double.

Before SMSU: Played two seasons at Glendale Community College apart of the NJCAA for head coach Rebecca Shaw ... hit .313 with eight home runs, 49 RBIs, 40 runs, and five stolen bases in 56 games in 2013 ... finished fourth in the NJCAA with 127 assists in 2013. 

High School: 2011 graduate of Sunrise Mountain High School in Peoria, Ariz. ... played for head coach Nick Rizer.

Personal: Born March 4, 1993 ... daughter of Bill Downing and Lisa Boyles ... exercise science major.
