Biography

2018-19: Finished with a 10-12 record at 149 ... went 3-4 in NSIC matches ... recorded six victories by fall ... two by decision ... and one each at tech fall and major decision. 

2017-18: Finished with a 20-9 record ... tied for the team lead in victories ... led the team with 12 victories by fall ... finished with a 4-3 record in NSIC matches ... went 1-2 at the NCAA Super Regional.

2016-17: Did not compete in any matches.

2015-16: Finished the season 6-11 at 141 pounds ... recorded three decisions and two majors.

2014-15: Sat out as a redshirt.

High School: 2014 graduate of Beresford HS ... wrestled for coach Tyler Sorenson ... two-time state place winner ... three-time state participant ... earned second-place at 106 pounds as a sophomore and third-place at 120 pounds as a junior in state meet ... during his sophomore and junior seasons, ranked as high as second in the state of South Dakota Class B ...  four-year letter winner.

Personal: Born Sept. 2, 1995 ... son of Jim Haneke and Shawna Nyhaug ... sports management major ... brother Ty is a member of SMSU wrestling team.
