SMSU Athletics

Ashtin Meerpohl is in his second year as head strength and conditioning coach for the SMSU football program in 2017.
 
Meerpohl came to SMSU after spending the 2015 football season at Ohio State University, where he was an intern for the Football Sports Performance department. Prior to OSU, he was an intern for Sports Performance at the University of Kansas, providing assistance with 17 intercollegiate sports.
 
Meerpohl, a certified strength and conditioning specialist, is a 2015 graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in community health.
