Bryan Hiller is in his fourth season on the SMSU coaching staff and will coach the team's tight ends in 2021. He coached the offensive line coach from 2018-20.
Hiller came to SMSU after spending six seasons as offensive line coach, which also included three as offensive coordinator, at Missouri Valley College.
During Hiller's tenure at Missouri Valley, the Vikings appeared four times in the NAIA playoffs and were consistently ranked in the NAIA Top 25. He coached numerous all-conference honorees during his time as offensive coordinator, including a 2015 NAIA second team All-American offensive lineman.
Prior to Missouri Valley, Hiller spent five seasons (2007-11) as offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at Culver-Stockton College, where he recruited 12 all-conference players and coached six all-conference lineman.
Hiller began his collegiate coaching career at the University of Minnesota in 1996 serving as a graduate assistant coach for two seasons. In 1998, he was hired at Winona State University as the offensive line coach and spent nine seasons (1998-2006) with the Warriors in various roles, including recruiting coordinator and assistant offensive coordinator. While at WSU, he was a member of six NSIC championship and four NCAA playoff teams and coached 20 all-conference lineman, including seven All-Americans while with WSU.

Brock Hiller
Hiller is a 1996 graduate of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a bachelor's degree in physical education. He also earned a master's degree in kinesiology from the University of Minnesota in 1998.
Bryan and his wife, Jennifer, live in Marshall and have one son, Brock.
