Colin Duling

Colin Duling

Colin Duling is in his second season as an assistant in 2014 and will coach the team’s wide receivers.

A season ago, SMSU wide receiver Anthony Dean finished with 1,010 yards receiving, becoming just the seventh player in team history to reach 1,000 yards. Dean also caught 18 touchdowns, which ranks tied for third in single-season team history.

A native of Clinton, Ill., Duling was a four-year starter at wide receiver at NCAA III Illinois College where he finished his career with 97 receptions for 1,502 yards and 13 touchdowns. Illinois College recorded 27 victories during his career, the most in a four-year period in school history, while the 2011 squad advanced to the NCAA playoffs for the first time in program history. Duling also competed in track for two seasons, earning all-conference honors in 2012.

Duling spent the 2013 spring season coaching tight ends at Redlands High School in Redlands, Calif.
   
Duling, a 2013 graduate of Illinois College with a degree in political science and international studies, is pursuing his master's degree in sports management/physical education from SMSU.
