Jacob Menage enters his first season as an assistant coach at SMSU in 2018 and will coach the team’s running backs.
Menage comes to SMSU after spending five seasons as both a quarterback and wide receiver at South Dakota State University. He was a member of five NCAA playoff teams, including the 2017 squad that advanced to the FCS semifinals. He was named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll all five years of his career.
Following his playing career, he was a volunteer assistant coach at SDSU during the 2018 spring season.
Menage is a 2017 graduate of South Dakota State University with a degree in physical education. He is pursuing his master’s degree He is pursuing his master’s degree in education with an emphasis on coaching in sport at SMSU.
