Rick Tenenoff begins his first season as running backs and strength and conditioning coach at SMSU in 2015.
Tenenoff comes to SMSU after completing a four-year playing career at Bethel University (Minn.). Tenenoff played both safety and linebacker for the Royals and helped lead the squad to a conference title and NCAA playoff appearance in 2013. He served as a defensive line and linebackers coach midway through the 2014 season following an injury. He began his playing career spending one season at Division II Southwest Baptist University in 2010.
Tenenoff is a 2015 graduate of Bethel with a degree in biokinetics. He is pursuing his master's degree from SMSU in physical education coaching of sport.
