Shane LaDage is in his third season as an assistant coach in 2013 and will coach the team's wide receivers after serving as the team's tight ends coach for two seasons. He also served as the program's strength and conditioning coordinator.
A native of Parker, Colo., LaDage was a four-year letterwinner at tight end for SMSU (2007-10) and played in 43 career games. He finished his career with 57 receptions for 517 yards and three touchdowns.
As a senior in 2010, LaDage caught 29 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns. He was named All-NSIC South Division honorable mention in both 2009 and 2010.
LaDage is a 2011 graduate of SMSU and is pursuing his master's degree in sports leadership from SMSU.
