2019: Sat out season as a redshirt ... named scout team special teams player of the week vs. MSU Moorhead.

Before SMSU: Played two seasons (2017-18) at Iowa Wesleyan University ... recorded 34 tackles and two sacks during the 2018 season ... also finished with six tackles for loss ... had one interception and one fumble recovery ... played in eight games as a true freshman ... named academic all-conference in 2018.

High School: 2017 graduate of Brazosport HS ... played for coach Ben Rudolph ... named second team all-state ... academic all-state.

Personal: Born July 13, 1999 ... son of Lisa and Paul Goins ... business management major.
