Before SMSU: Spent four seasons at the University of South Dakota … MVFC honor roll member three times.

High School: 2019 graduate of St. Thomas Academy HS … played for coach Dan O’Brien … two-time all-district … also named all-state … racked up 127 career tackles with 25 sacks … played in Minnesota All-Star game … also played lacrosse and competed in wrestling.

Personal: Born Dec. 17, 2000 ... son of Michael and Jennifer Samec ... pursuing MBA.
