Biography

2017: Appeared in four games ... named scout team special teams player of the week vs. MSU Moorhead.

2016: Played in nine games with two starts ... finished the season with 17 receptions for 181 yards ... caught a total of 11 passes in final three games ... had five receptions for 58 yards vs. Augustana ... caught four passes for 54 yards at Winona State.

2015: Sat out season as a redshirt.

High School: 2015 graduate of Park HS ... played for coach Darin Glazier … two-time all-conference honorable mention honoree … caught 34 passes for 660 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior … recorded 35 receptions for 534 yards as a junior … set the program record for career receiving yards and receiving touchdowns … set school single-game record with 223 yards receiving … also multi-year letterwinner in basketball and baseball.

Personal: Born July 29, 1997 ... son of Jeff and Lisa Melson ... biology major.
