2018: Sat out season as a redshirt ... named scout defensive player of the week vs. Wayne State and Concordia-St. Paul ... named scout special teams player of the week vs. Augustana.

Before SMSU: Played one season at Minot State University in 2017 … played in 11 games on defense and special teams as a true freshman.

High School: 2017 graduate of Redwood Valley HS … played for coach Matt Lundeen … led team as a senior in tackles … two-time team captain … was named team “Mr. Football” … also letter winner in hockey and baseball.

Personal: Born July 14, 1998 ... son of Mark and Patti Machart ... education and political science major.
