SMSU Athletics

SMSU: Was a member of the SMSU cross country team for four seasons.

2017: Named Academic All-NSIC.
Indoor- competed in three meets ... finished 16th in the mile at the Minnesota State Alumni Open.

Outdoor- Competed in five meets ... finished fourth at the Minnesota State Twilight in the 5000m with a time of 17:32.54. 

2016: Indoor - Academic All-NSIC ... competed in six meets ... member of distance medlay relay team that finished ninth at the NSIC Championships ... finished fifth in the mile at the MSU Alumni Open with a time of 4:42.51.

Outdoor - Academic All-NSIC ... competed in six meets ... ran in both the 1,500m and 5,000m at the NSIC Championships.

2015: Indoor - Academic All-NSIC ... competed in four meets ... personal best 16:28.00 in the 5,000m at the SDSU Indoor Classic ... placed ninth in the 5,000m with a time of 16:53.96 at the MSU Multi Open.

Outdoor - Academic All-NSIC ... competed in four meets ... finished 12th at the Dakota Relays in the 3,000 steeplechase with a time of 10:43.41 ... finished eighth in the 3,000 steeplechase at the Drake Alternative at 10:33.23.

2014: Indoor - Ran in two meets ... personal best 4:53.85 in the mile at MSU Mankato Multi & Open.

Outdoor - Competed in three meets ... pesonal best 17:21.74 in the 5,000m at the Lee Krough Invite.

High School: 2012 graduate of Murray County Central HS ... two-time all-conference honoree in cross country ... also named all-conference in track.

Personal: Born Dec. 8, 1993 ... son of Linda Rietmann ... exercise science major.
