Frank Wallace

Frank Wallace is in his second season as an assistant coach for the SMSU women's and men's track & field programs in 2016-17.

Wallace is a native of Omaha, Nebraska. Graduating from Omaha Burke High School in 2010. He was a four-year letter winner at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa.

Wallace competed in sprints/ relays in his four seasons at Briar Cliff, running in the GPAC conference where he competed in the 55m,60m,100 meter dash and the 4x100 meter relay during the outdoor season...anchored the 4x100m team qualifying for NAIA nationals where they placed ninth at the NAIA National meet with a time of 41.45 seconds earning 2nd team All-American honors...also helped the 4x100 team tie the school record with a 41.73 at the Mount Marty Twilight meet and then broke that record at the GPAC Championships with a 41.33 to win the event and earn Conference Champion honors as a Junior.

As a senior Wallace competed in the 55m, 60m,100m 4x100m and the 4x200 meter relay...helped the 4x200 relay team run a time of 1:29.85 and with a 60-meter dash time of 7.16 seconds. Outdoor he helped the Briar Cliff 4x100 meter relay team qualify for NAIA Championships where they set a new school record with a time of 41.08, finishing 10th at the National meet earning 2nd team All-American honors. GPAC all-conference in the 100-meter dash and 4x100 relay as the relay team won the race with a team-time of 41.15...placed sixth at the GPAC Championships in the 100 with a time of 10.99...best time of the season in the 100 was 10.82 seconds.

Wallace Graduated from Briar Cliff University in 2015 with a degree in Sports Management.
