Jon Woehl is in his fourth season as an assistant coach for the SMSU women’s and men’s cross country teams in 2015-16. He will also serve as an assistant coach for the women's and men's track teams.
Woehl came to SMSU after spending four years in private business in Arizona.
Woehl, a native of Ankeny, Iowa, was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track at Northwestern College (Iowa). In 2007, he set the school record for the half marathon and in 2008 he qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the marathon.
Woehl, a 2008 graduate of Northwestern with a degree in math and art, lives in Marshall.
