SMSU: Member of the SMSU football team ... sat out the 2019 season as a redshirt.

2022: Indoor - Competed in four meets … Season best in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.84 in the SDSU D2 Open … season best in the long jump with a jump of 5.57 meters in SDSU D2 Open. 

Outdoor - Did not compete in any meets.

2021: Indoor - Competed in four meets ... placed 12th in the 60 hurdles at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships with a 8.90 time ... finished second in the 60 hurdles at the CSB/SJU Tri Meet with a 8.81 time ... placed fourth in the 60 hurdles at the Cobber COVID Indoor Duals with a 9.27 time ... finished 19th in the 60 hurdles at the SDSU Last Chance with a 9.07 time.

Outdoor - Competed in two meets ... placed seventh in the 110 hurdles at the Wayne State - Wildcat Classic with a 19.31 time which was a PR ... finished 12th in the 110 hurdles at the NSIC & Friends Outdoor Challenge with a 19.31 time.

2020: Indoor - Competed in seven meets ... ran season best 8.93 in the 60m hurdles at the NSIC Championships ... season best 7.67 in the 60 meters at the SDSU DII Invite ... finished second at the SJU Invite with a time of 8.98 in the 60m hurdles.

High School: 2019 graduate of Olathe South HS … played for Craig Lewis … all-conference honorable mention punter … closed senior season with nine catches for 97 yards … averaged 37.8 yards per punt … recorded 11 punts inside 20-yard line … had 12 punts 45-yards or longer … also in track & field.  

Personal: Born March 5, 2001 ... son of David and Cathy Stearns ... earned his Finance degree from SMSU in 2023... now pursuing his Masters of Business Administration.
