Kelsey Gale is in her second season as an assistant coach in 2018.

Gale came to SMSU after a standout four-year playing career at Northern State University. Gale batted a team-high .351 as a senior in 2015 with 10 doubles, three home runs and 18 RBIs in 52 games. She was named second team All-NSIC and second team CCA All-Region. She was also an NSIC Gold Glove honoree at second base.

Gale is a 2016 graduate of Northern State with a degree in human performance and fitness.
