Garten Notes: Enters fourth year with the Mustangs ... member of 2007 Mustang squad that earned third-place finish in the Central Intercollegiate Division ... outside of SMSU, Garten qualified for the 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 4x100, 800 Med, Shot, Disk, Javelin, Club, Long Jump Pethalon for the National Junior Disability Championships (NJDC) being held in Chicago, Ill., from July 17-24.
Before SMSU: Played for the Courage Center Lightning from 2004 to 2006 ... Captained that team from 2005 to 2006 ... two-time Academic All-American first team Junior Division of NWBA
