Abbey Hoisington is in her second year in the SMSU Athletics Department will assist in communications and game management for SMSU athletic events as well as other special projects throughout the academic year.Â
Hoisington, who played soccer at SMSU from 2018-22, served as graduate assistant coach for the program in 2023, before transitioning to her new role.
A five-year letter winner, Academic All-NSIC member and 2019 All-NSIC second team member from Chantilly, Va., Hoisington scored 16 goals and recorded 12 assists in 65 games, including 48 starts. She ranks fourth in program history with five game winning goals, eighth in assists, and third in single season assists with eight.Â
