Ashley Dunn joined the SMSU women’s swimming & diving program as a volunteer assistant coach in the spring of 2019.
Dunn, a native of Marshall, Minn., comes to SMSU after completing an outstanding swimming career at Northern State University from 2015-19. A team captain during her senior season in 2018-19, Dunn was a 10-time NSIC Championship finalist and was a three-time NSIC Championships Top 8 finisher. She was also a member of the 800 freestyle relay and 200 freestyle relay teams that set school records.
An NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award winner as a senior, Dunn graduated from NSU in 2019 with a degree in education. She is currently a student teacher at Holy Redeemer School in Marshall.
