Lolo Weideman is in her second season as an assistant coach with the SMSU volleyball program in 2024. Weideman came to SMSU following a standout five-year career at the University of South Dakota.
During her first season on the sidelines at SMSU, the Mustangs finished 23-7 overall, placed fourth in the league standings and advanced to the NCAA tournament.
Weideman served as a defensive specialist/libero for the Coyotes playing in a school record 150 career matches and finishing with 1,970 digs, while recording 177 service aces and 381 assists. USD won four Summit League Tournament championships and two Summit League regular season titles during her career.
Weideman was named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Year and All-Summit League first team in 2022 and was named CSC Academic All-District.
Weideman is a graduate of the University of South Dakota and is pursuing her master's degree at SMSU.
