Biography

2022-23: Finished the season 2-15 ... went 1-7 in duals .. picked up a fall victory in just 35 seconds at the Dakota Wesleyan Open... went 0-2 at Super Regionals at 125 pounds. 

2021-22: Finished the season 2-7 … went 1-2 in duals … defeated Jarrod Gilliam (Briar Cliff) by fall in just 54 seconds (11/13/21)

2020-21: Finished the season with an overall record of 1-6 ... went 1-4 in the NSIC ... finished 0-2 at the NCAA Super Regional.
 
2019-20: Finished the season 0-5 at 125 pounds and 0-1 in NSIC duals. 

2018-19: Competed at 125 as a true freshman ... went 12-13 overall and 0-5 in the NSIC ... tied for a team-high wins by fall with seven ... had one victory by tech fall and one by major decision ... had two other victories by decision ... competed at the NCAA Super Regional V where he went 1-2. 

High School: 2018 graduate of Tipton HS ... wrestled for coach Matt Nerem ... four-year letter winner ... two-time state qualifier ... conference champion ... racked up more than 100 career victories ... broke school record for team points in a season ... all-district honoree in football.

Personal: Born July 18, 1999 ... son of Steve Emrich and Stacy Childs ... environmental science and justice admin major.
