Brad Maas is in his second year as an assistant wrestling coach for the SMSU wrestling program in 2019-20.
 
Maas came to SMSU after serving as a camp counselor at J Robinson Intensive Wrestling Camps during the summer of 2018. 
 
Maas graduated from Minnesota State University in 2017 with a degree in exercise science. He was a four-year letter winner for the Maverick wrestling team. In 2017, he was awarded the Myles Brand award, and in 2016 he was a Butch Raymond Scholarship recipient. 
 
Maas is pursuing his master's degree at SMSU in physical education coaching of sport.
