SMSU Athletics

Brad Kaufer (MS, ATC, LAT) is in his third year as an assistant athletic trainer in 2025-26. He came to SMSU following four years as an athletic trainer at Wayne State College.

Kaufer earned his bachelor's degree from Upper Iowa University in 2019 where he was a member of the soccer program for four seasons. He worked with all sports in athletic training while at Upper Iowa.

Kaufer earned his master's degree in sport and recreational management from Wayne State College in 2022.

Brad and his wife, Bailey, the head softball coach at SMSU, live in Marshall.
