SMSU Athletics

SMSU team physician Dr. Hermanson is an orthopedic surgeon with Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls, S.D., and specializes in shoulder, hip, knee, elbow and ankle surgery. 

Hermanson graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed a residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  He also completed a sports fellowship in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy and Reconstructive Surgery at Southern California Orthopedic Institute.
