SMSU Athletics

Grayson Benedict is in his fourth year as an assistant athletic trainer at SMSU in 2025-26.
 
Benedict came to SMSU after serving a PRN athletic trainer for Taylor Physical Therapy and Athletico Physical Therapy in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He has also worked as athletic trainer with the University of Northern Iowa and Cedar Falls High School.

Benedict earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Northern Iowa in 2020 and his master’s degree in athletic training from UNI in 2022.  

Benedict lives in Marshall.
