SMSU Athletics

Sean Howk, a three-time captain for the SMSU wrestling program, is in his first year as Assistant AD for Event Operations and Ticketing. He was named to the position on Oct. 13, 2025. 

Howk was a six-year member of the wrestling team, which included winning 18 matches his senior season in 2024-25. He was a three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree and four-time NWCA Scholar All-American.

Howk is a 2023 graduate of SMSU with a degree in physical education and health education. He is pursuing his master's degree at SMSU. 

Sean and his wife, Kylie, live in Marshall.
