SMSU Athletics

Sean Howk, a three-time captain for the SMSU wrestling program, is in his first year working in the SMSU Athletics Department will assist with compliance and event operations.

Howk was a six-year member of the wrestling team, which included winning 18 matches his senior season in 2024-25. He was a three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree and four-time NWCA Scholar All-American.

Howk is a 2023 graduate of SMSU with a degree in physical education and health education. He is pursuing his master's degree at SMSU. 

Sean and his wife, Kylie, live in Marshall.
