THIS WEEK: The Southwest Minnesota State University men's basketball team (6-2, 2-1 NSIC) steps out of conference play this week hosting former conference rival the University of Minnesota-Morris (3-5, 2-0 UMAC) on Thursday, Dec. 17, at the R/A Facility in Marshall starting at 8 p.m.  The two teams were conference foes from 1969 until 2003, before UMM left NCAA Division II for NCAA Division III.  The game also marks the final non-conference game for SMSU this season.  The Mustangs return to NSIC action on Jan. 2 at MSU Moorhead.
